Default AVG and Comodo

I had installed avg pro in my firend's pc[ i had full year license from that v3 promo]
then when cis 5 relesed i installed that on his sytem to test x86 version as i myself was testing x64
he was complaing that pc was running a little slow so i did a little look around and i found this
there was an svchost process that was sending data
when we see svchost in taskmanager the description is host process for windows service
but in his pc there was on svchost whose description was again svchost
so i checked in whcih folder it was
it was in user/roaming/ sumthng folder
so i scanned with hitmanpro and it showed that svchost as a trojan and cleaned it
comodo didnt give any signal for it
forgot to check the date for the file to know if it was there while avg was dere
then there was a plugin/toolbar installed name my web search which was installed in programfiles/mywebsearch
when i opened the folder comodo showed an alert for virus and i clicked clean
my friend said that he had installed it when avg was present
i uninstalled that from add remove programs and did a scan with mbam and it found 12 infected things all relating to my web search

avg didnt whistle for my web search and comodo didnt whistle for trojan svchost

back to my favourite setup on his pc
mse and oa free
