It has been a while ago, but there was a discussion on Wilder's about this organization having ties to software companies. I'm not sure how reliable these test results are.

I don't know whether this peoples results are honest or not but I
know that SAS is much, much better than what they show on
this tests.

There's a well known saying that the only good tests are those where your favourite programs perform well

I know that ako works closely with these guys regarding samples and other stuff and I have no reason to doubt them either. They publish their test details for all to see so I guess the only way forward from here is to ask a specific question about a specific test and product rating which I will then raise with them directly and either post here or invite them so to do

Bear in mind that this "information" is now a year out of date which is as good as a life time in this industry. I'm not suggesting or supporting anything either way, if we did then no one in the world would use Microsoft, Google, Norton or a bunch of others.

I understand that .. but i also understood that it was after this thread that people dont trust mrg tests
coz in each mrg thread after that there are members who have posted that they dont care about mrg tests
now its personal choice what they want to believe and what they not
and at the end of the day its personal liking for an antivirus product irrespective of tests
like im favoured for mse right now

This is very true and I've often said that all tests have value, it's just how you use the results to fit your own needs. There are also a lot of other things to consider when looking at restricted tests like these such as what are my realistic chances of ending up at an infected location if I'm using WOT or a DNS filter like ClearCloud or Norton? If I have ThreatFire or WinPatrol installed would these stop it? Would the HIPS in my firewall prevent any of these? Also, email worms are the easiest things on the planet to avoid and you don't need an AV to accomplish this for you

http://antivirus.about.com/od/securi...mailsafety.htm

Bottom line is I don't see anything to suggest that these tests have been manipulated in any way but I wouldn't be concerned either if my favourite AV was in the "failed" pile
