You can see how effective SafeOnline technology is in this and these banking tests by Malware Research Group. They used of course the full version of Prevx, but i guess the facebook version provides the same kind of protection against keyloggers.
Personally i tried SafeOnline and i didn't like it, it slowed down my machine, it scanned in the background all the time, my hard disk was cranching and the ram usage was over 100 megs. Guys over at Wilders repeatedly have asked Prevx To separate SafeOnline from their antimalware engine, but they say that they complement each other. I also tried the full version of Prevx in the past and totally locked down my system, i had to go to safe mode to uninstall it, and it didn't even uninstall itself completely, left drivers behind. Anyway, there's a guy at Wilders who gives some interesting advice about safe online banking, and of course you can always follow ako's. |

I don't worry about Keyloggers since I hardly ever do Banking on line but
if I did it often, Sandboxie would be there doing what it takes. This is a perfect time to install a new browser in a new Sandbox. After banking is done, I would terminate all programs and delete the contents of the sandbox. The last step would be to remove/delete the sandbox completely or you can save that Sandbox for future on line Banking sessions. I believe that's more than enough to be safe. http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?D...Loggers#defend Bo |
