Came across this. Mx One Antivirus is an antivirus specially for monitoring removable storage devices like pendrives. It can reside on the storage device itself, or on the PC too, and offers real-time protection.
The features on the site says its compatible with the popular resident antivirus softwares. If anyone has tried it, or will try... please share your experiences here.

Installed the program on my PC, and seems good so far. On installation, it asks if you want to install on PC, or on USB drive. I installed it on the PC. Occupies just about 1.7 MB on memory.
Signatures can be updated, and the updation was trouble free. When a pendrive is inserted, it scans it immediately on its own. The scanning is too fast, almost immediate. I always wanted a protection for my pendrive, which could be on the pendrive itself. Seems like this is the solution. Looks good so far.

It will be interesting to see how you get on with this because so far I've not found one of these things that was any good, or didn't end up causing system problems. Their website (English) presentation is very poor. I would certainly only advise others to try this on a spare or test machine until we can see more data.

torresmagnifico ... I have known of Panda USB Vaccine. Two other programs which do the same job are Flash Disinfector from BleepingComputer ... and other iKill from ArpanTech. All of these do the same job... they disable the autorun feature of the USB drive. They cannot be considered as antivirus.
But, Mx One is an antivirus for the pendrives, with signatures and all. It will prevent from getting an infection too, if it resides on the USB drive. Another antivirus for pendrives is Ninja Antivirus, but it cannot reside on the pendrives, and I did not found it that good. Mx One looks good so far.
