Default Remove Avira

I guess it's time to remove Avira after recent developments of bundelt adware. For XP there has been complaints of MSE using too much resouces. So Avast could be the new choice?

P.S. The wizard does not work for me with FF 5.0

I wouldn't remove it, because the product itself is still very capable. I would remove its Top Pick though.

P.S. Why do we have 2 adware keys now?

My comment also applies to the Security Wizard.

BTW, you have to double-click on Firefox 5.

Red face

I'm too using FF6 on WinXP and had to double click to select an option. I'm also using Adblock+.
I feel that Avast should replace Avira since the current top pick is with Avast.
Please update this immediately to avoid misleading our users.

Hello there,

Personally, I use avast! Free Antivirus, because of the excellent features the program holds, as well as for the fact that avast! is the top pick by Gizmo's Freeware.

If you are a PC User who engages high risks, then I suggest that you stick with Avira AntiVir, for the reason that it has proven higher detection rates than any other antivirus program.

Hope this helps!
