Saw this today on Honkiat blog. Might be of use, and interest to users. It lists 70 useful portable applications.

I can't seem to download activepixels though. I get an error if I try the "Add this download" in the upper right corner and if I go to the author's site it's a setup exe not a portable

Plus I can't figure out if Winsnap is actually free or not. It's saying you have to register and pay on the download page even for a single personal licence. I'm wondering if an older version was free? If so, does anyone know where there might be a last freeware version of Winsnap?

About ActivePixels, I think you are right. There does not seem to be a portable version available on its home site.

Here is the link to the page offering free version of Winsnap. I could not find the link when I looked on site initially. But, then I searched for "winsnap free" on Google, and this turned up. I would not have searched if you had not asked for last freeware version. I would not have known if a free version existed. Anyways, here is the link:

I have found Trojan problems with some of this software,so ya might wanna make sure for yourself that this and all software is Virus,Trojan,and malware free...and whatever new name they wanna call bad things for a computer.OFC this site is one of the best sites and IMHO can be considered safe.I understand this is old post but always new viewers.
