Yes, I played mp4 movies that were synced from other PCs and synced one myself to see if the problem related to the transfer.

I installed the 64-bit version over the 32-bit version. Then I removed iTunes and reinstalled the 64-bit version. Finally, I removed QuickTime. All my testing was done after this.

Incidentally, the 64-bit version doesn't appear to be 64-bit. I have to check that out before I include it in my review.

Thanks for checking out things . I don't mind installing QuickTime, I had to do it before. Would have been better though, if it worked without it. Even though, I am surprised that even the transfers won't happen without QuickTime installed.. atleast that should not have been the case.
