format factory help

I don't know if this is in the right place.

I have Format Factory and it works great but one thing.

I have some VOB files that I know are interlaced videos.
They are from the DVD 1970's Land Of The Lost.

And I can convert them to other formats and it works.

But if I click De Interlace SEY

When I go to play it in VLc it plays with one video at the Top of the screen and the same video playing at the bottom of the screen at the same time.
A dable video is playing.

But if I set it to Prograsive NO it plays ok.
I have VLC set to De Interlace Audio and even if I play it on my Match Speed Trio 5000 it looks the same way.

Why does this happen
