I don't think it will do that... pop up and then disappear. If you go into the 'big view' tab (as posted earlier) you can adjust the visual settings there by checking or unchecking the boxes.

You can also change the size of the song info window by moving your curser to the bottom of the song display window until you see the vertical double arrow appear, then left click your mouse and move the vertical arrow up or down to increase/decrease the size of the display. It doesn't have to be as big as I showed in the image.

If you only want to see the song info briefly you can also just hover your curser over the 1by1 tray icon and it will display the song info in a bubble for you.
