Here is the poll and a thread for further discussion.
Music players are very much a matter of taste when you compare the really professional and high quality ones. But, still, they have many important differences. See also: Best Free Music Player and Organizer Last edited by Rizar; 25. Mar 2009 at 11:57 PM. |

and it is not in your list! And I use the vlc media player. Also not in your list, so I'm afraid, I'm sort of off-list then...

Is it just VLC that's not on this list for you?
VLC would fall under Joe's article on media players... Maybe a good additional poll thread. I have been looking for another competitive music player to review. I plan on cutting back JetAudio to a sentence as a good option for radio listeners, and then I was going to add a new fourth choice -- Media Monkey and Quintessential Media Player are top prospects. BTW, I'm not incredibly happy with the way these polls work. I wish users could rate products on a scale of 1-5, and not just pick the ones they like.
I also don't like the multiple select voting feature; I wish I hadn't used it, but I guess this is how we learn! It reminds me too much of American Idol chain voting! There is just something wrong with the total number of votes not adding up to the total number of voters! Last edited by Rizar; 21. Mar 2009 at 05:10 AM. |

This may surprise you, but whats wrong with windows media player. Works fine for me and has more than enough bells and whistles for this old geezer. Amorok works great when I'm using linux.

I am playing around with AIMP. Looks really nice ... as far as I can see. Because I can't see much. I am running a 1900 resolution and the little AIMP is so small that you can't read most of it.
Is there a display enlarge feature like in WinAmp?
