As was to be expected with this exploding market, malware writers are taking full advantage of human nature.

As this report emphasizes, it is vital that phone owners ensure what they are downloading is genuine. Judging by what I'm observing here of users habits, it's like a permanent Christmas party for malware writers.

This was bound to happen. Android phones are getting very popular, and more and more malware are appearing targeting these phones.

this isn't the only problem with smart phones as dangerous QR codes have started to show up.

Yeah, virus suddenly appears. I think some AV vendors are needing customers

Well kaspersky and a few other vendors already have a android app for security.

Yes. Kaspersky and Eset have a great.... I was subtly accusing AV vendors of create virus.
