I copied audio cd's playing on my mac to a thumb drive to play in my car - but the thumb drive is not reading in my car. How should I go about copying songs from the audio CD to my MAC and from there on to my Thumb drive? I am technologically challenged
hence a step my step process will help. Thanks !

1. You will have to "rip" or "extract" the music from your CDs with some software like itunes. A simple copy/paste will not work.
![]() 2. Then convert the music tracks to a format like mp3 so that you will be able to play back the music. You could also check out what other formats your car stereo will support. This tutorial should help you rip CDs and convert them to mp3/other formats: http://www.macworld.com/article/1568...o_rip_cds.html Last edited by Concerned User; 03. Feb 2012 at 05:54 AM. |
