C'mon Gizmo surfers, please help us out with this one
![]() http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...nux-distro.htm This has been sitting around for a while now as a "stub" but really needs a dedicated editor to turn it into a proper review. There are loads of candidates, more even since the original list was compiled. Too many is always too confusing so what is needed is an appraisal of say 5 distros maximum detailing the features and benefits of each. Mine would be Bodhi, Puppy and Peppermint for minimals and maybe Kororaa and Pinguy if you think these belong in this category? What do I know anyway .. so lets have some offers from those better qualified

Puppy Linux is a tough one because its so very different than the popular platforms like Ubuntu and Mint. I truly love Puppy Linux but I might have given up on it if not for my experience with more main stream distro's.
I think Wubi poses the least risk because making a new partition is not required. |

At some later date I'd be interested once I've caught up on my other commitments here.
I've committed to reviewing Linux font managers so I'll have to get a Linux test system. But I'm in the 99% who try Linux and give up. The only exception has been with Puppy Linux which I had to persevere with on a low-powered system. I liked it a lot.
