Default Kernel Patch for Linux = Significant Speed Boost

Just ran across this article http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2010/11/l...-to-new-patch/ on how a new kernel update will greatly improve the over all speed of Linux.

I am really curious to see how this helps performance on my netbook.

Very funny. I've come to the recent conclusion that it's the operator needing a new gearbox here and not the system

Then you'll gain a double speed-up.
