An interesting read. I did not know Mandriva was in trouble, but it appears that there is a fork that is aimed at preserving its legacy.

I did know about this but wasn't up to date with the latest development - thanks for this link

I still think that Mandriva is the best looking KDE with a default install and it will be interesting to see what this lot do with it.
