Combatability of DVD Recorders with Linux

Hi,

I'm thinking of using an older PC to learn Linux. This is a P4 2,80GHz with 1,5GB RAM and no DVD recorder. Would like to get one - either internal or external.

Any suggestions in terms of Linux combatability?

LiteOn EZ Dub works fine for me. Never tried to use the push buttons on top.

Burns everything Brasero throws at it.
