Even the desktop is very different. I have 10.02beta installed in a VM and it is pretty slick looking. Still some video bugs (at least in my case) to work out. Can't get any of the Compiz features working. But before anyone scolds me, I know, that is what you get in a beta.

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Beta 1 is out.

Ubuntu 10.04 is officially released. It has a new color theme. I also installed Chrome to run on it. Looks like among the Chrome themes by Google, the Chrome's Earthy theme has the best match with the Ubuntu's new theme.
