get (1) book wacked out name Rute...read online (aarrggh that read word) or download in .pdf or html. ya gotta read, no you tube vids. you start with more than one and all you will do is confuse the whole process and wind up giving up.

All I can say is "wow" This takes me be back to the old school days. I read stuff like this when I got my first computer. An amiga 1200.

This read is truly the way to learn a platform. Get the basics down and the rest will follow. I work every day and married with children so as MC stated its something I will have to do on a quiet weekend. I have looked at a number of other tutorials that are gnome and kde specific those have also helped. Thanks for link and help offer
