I think that the next 12 months will be an interesting time right across the OS spectrum as we also have Google entering the arena. With each new Linux release more of the arguments for staying with Windows disappear and unless W7 has something no one has yet discovered I can see this trend continuing. Certainly for netbooks which by their nature cannot endure the resource demands of Windows then Linux is the logical choice. As with all community based or collaborative projects though things take more time to develop which is why Microsoft was handed back the opportunity to regain center stage. In this sector of the market though you cannot fundamentally change the nuts and bolts requirements and the commercial interests realize this too. For too long now users with any type of screen in front of them have been fed with what they were given instead of what was the right thing for the job. Life is all about choice and in this respect the Linux community excels. In many ways it's a bit similar to the introduction of Japanese made cars during the 1960's. Both Ford and General Motors didn't appreciate the real threat until their own workers started arriving for work in them

Or just download the Moblin v2.0 image, with the Moblin Application installer. (722 MB) from this page Get Started. MC, don't need to wait for Ubuntu 10, Moblin could be better

Thanks Jojo - I'll check this out when I get some time. I'll have a look this weekend if the site's quiet.
