Yeah, system specific. No doubt the Gnometris thing something to do with whichever graphics card happens to be on board as the bug is already well documented in the forums. Could even be that a wipe-out and clean install of 9.10 will behave differently. My tech guy has now stuffed this into his own laptop so I can get some more advice about which direction to go in after he's run it for a while.

For now though it's back to Vista and my Alamo feature set of security apps
