What do you think is the best search engine for all the user groups. Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced users? Which one is yours?

Here's how about.com responded with a list from reader e-mail suggestions for the best search engines and it concentrates mostly on the needs of an everday user especially the beginners.

Google. Occasionally try the others but Google always seems to give the most and closest results to what I am searching for.

This sounds crazy.

Both of these search engines claim to be the worlds most private search engine and their interface is exactly similar. Except that ixquicksearch has an extra option "Phone" to the top of the page and startpage is enhanced by Google that offers web page results from Google in complete privacy. What's going on?

Startpage is a new name for Ixquick. They are the same search engine that just differs in name.
