Anyone else notice this feature? I don't know how long Google has had it, but I just saw it today. When you do a search, a little arrow or triangle appears next to the top search result, and if you use your cursor keys you can move it up and down the list and just hit enter to follow a link. It works on the next and previous links at the bottom of the search results as well.
This works really nice on portable devices. I find it much easier than using the touch pad on my little netbook. ![]() Every site should be like that if possible. I know it is probably not all that easy to set up, but it would work great around here too.

On the google home page I discovered it does not show up in the "instant results" you have to hit enter. It works fine if you use the search bar in the browser. What is strange is that I can't find any mention of the feature online.

I finally found something about it. It is supposedly part of the Google instant feature. It is demonstrated in this video. (see the 48 sec mark in video)

I get that arrow but it only works on google.com, it doesn't appear on .co.uk so it must be a regional thing, part of google instant, like you pointed out. I only have FF as part of Lunascape and it works in that, with Gecko engine and Trident, but it doesn't work with the WebKit engine. Neither does it show when I use Seamonkey or Opera, at all. Must be something they're testing out?.. so maybe not everyone is seeing it.
