Out of curiosity I was looking at this one yesterday. Quite a polished Trident variant although I didn't try installing the Gecko option.
Does anyone know if it's possible to install WOT or LinkExtend with this? I tried yesterday and couldn't make it work.

@MC, you can't install the 'ActivateGeckoBrowser' plug in for some reason in the latest version, 2.9.4, of Sleipnir. It says it's unavailable on the plug ins page so, as far as I can tell, you can only use Sleipnir as single engine (Trident) at the moment. I use it quite often but only for certain sites so I've never bothered trying to install WOT etc. Good browser though.

Thing is with Sleipnir, it takes a bit of configuring to set it up to your liking but once you've done it it's a nice secure browser, very light. It seems to have stalled a bit in terms of advancing though, and without having the ability to install the popular add ons of today it's a bit of a no go for most people, I think. I use the SnapCrab plug in a lot, very quick for taking good quality screen shots. But the latest version only allows you to use Trident, you can switch to view pages in IE7 or IE8 mode but that's it, no Gecko.

I've seen other comments along the same lines as yours about the plugin functionality around the web. I'm trying to make a direct contact with the developers so lets see what comes back from that.

It would be interesting to hear what they have to say, if anything, because Sleipnir is one of the browsers that MS lists in the 12 alternatives to IE for that EU Commission thing. I remember being surprised at the time to see it there when they announced the final list.
