Inefficient blocking of advertisements by Chrome

Currently, most of the extensions for Chrome don't block download of ads. They block the display.

I came across this:

Star crbug.com/35897 if you still want to see this happen; Issue 35897 tracks the
desire to get this accomplished, as opposed to 16932's specific API which seems to
have been dropped. Right now our 400 or so votes are being split among two Issues.

AdThwart still does a good job despite the limitations.

Really looking forward to NoScript for Chrome.
