I don't know why, but.. Flash seems faster (and better quality) on my SRWare Iron (Portable).

Using Windows 7 64-bit. Maybe it's the graphics card support?

Got to add that SRWare Iron does not use the latest stable version of Chrome yet, the last time they updated was 4 months ago.

Why only Chrome and Safari? Why not Firefox? . Firefox was one of the first few to support HTML5.

Ah, the reason is there in the article.

The notable missing piece here is Firefox. Firefox does support HTML5's video streaming through Ogg Theora, a non-patented, license-free codec that its makers consider more free, while Google, and Apple, have moved their sites and browsers toward supporting h.264 streaming.

Someone has made these HTML5 Demos and Examples, including Video, Session and Local Storage, and a lot more. Supported browsers are indicated in the examples. Have a good try.
