WOT, or, Web of Trust is a community-powered safe surfing tool for your browser that warns you about risky sites that can't be trusted.
In the present times, when malicious websites are on the rise, tools like WOT are really a necessity. For me, WOT has become an indispensable tool, and I would advise everyone to use it. Its very easy to understand, and I think it should be installed on computers which are used by not so computer savvy people, like children, family members, elderly people. Its very useful for security, and safety. I decided to create this topic to consolidate different links for WOT, for different browsers at one place. WOT, officially is currently available for IE, Firefox, and Google Chrome/Iron. But, WOT is available for other browsers, like K-Meleon, and Opera too, although unofficially. WOT for opera has been approved and lauded by WOT though. Here are the links : Firefox : http://www.mywot.com/en/download/ff Internet Explorer : http://www.mywot.com/en/download/ie Google Chrome/SRWare Iron : https://chrome.google.com/extensions...egjjndpbikblnp K-Meleon : http://kmext.sourceforge.net/ext1.htm WOT for K-Meleon can be found on the above page. Separate link is not available. Opera : http://my.opera.com/PH%60/blog/2009/11/13/wot-for-opera WOT for Opera is available as a userscript. It will not show WOT rating for individual website which you open on the browser, but it will show WOT ratings on search pages, which is very useful. If you know of WOT for other browsers, please share here. Thanks to sa1, and Sope, for sharing the WOT links for Opera.

![]() P.S Loads of Opera experience here yet I'm discovering features nearly every other day. You need at least 1 week to try Opera but most people give up in the first hour. |

Where does WOT store its settings on Chrome/Iron? I have a habit of cleaning the private data, when I am done browsing with a browser. Whenever I clean private data of Iron, and I open up Iron again, WOT settings page opens too.

Nice list I added a few I didn't know of to my review of WOT.
Here is a link for Safari, but it's just a bookmarklet: Opera and Safari: http://www.mywot.com/en/blog/wot-bookmarklet-for-safari-and-opera
