Firefox 3.6.2 final released

Firefox 3.6.2 has been released, and is now available for download from Firefox site. All are advised to update to this version as soon as possible. Version 3.6.2 patches a critical security vulnerability, which was present in Firefox 3.6.

. I was waiting for the release too. They have been way ahead of schedule, if you believe the news that said, the version was to be released on 31st March.

I have been using SRware Iron though, since few days, and I like it. Still, I have updated Firefox, and will be using it.

Yes, thanks indeed, Anupam, for the heads up on this critical update! I'd read that Firefox 3.6.2 would be due by the end of March. So it's welcome news to know it's already here. Updating now...

Updated today. Doesnt seem to be any faster. But I will take safer anyday

All my add-ons worked with no problems.
