Is there a generic site to report websites to that are causing problems? A free on line game site that my wife likes must have redid there servers a few days ago, and now every time she goes to it it tries to load a Trojan that Avast catches and stops and then goes to cache. There is no report a problem on the sites' homepage as I just looked and it tried to load it again. The site is, fog. com which is freeonlinegames. I submitted the info to Avast hope to get a reply.

Yes, there are several safe-surf sites that request info of this type. Start with WOT, at www.mywot.com
Yahoo, the search engine, also covers the malware site situation well, and you can report it to them. In fact, search that site on Yahoo and see if they have flagged it up as a malware site yet. And make sure not to use Int. Explorer or Outlook Ex. of course, or you are simply asking for trouble. High-quality browsers and email clients often stop this sort of thing before you are even aware of it. Last edited by chris.p; 09. Jan 2010 at 07:09 PM. |

Must have been a false positive, I sent the file to Avast never got a personal reply but since the last update the site has been working fine with no alerts from Avast. Just wish even an automated response was sent because I do not think I would have been the only one having this problem.

This was some time ago and there haven't been any more recently unless someone else has been taking them out. If they do start again I'll push it through the channel to Rik
