Hello there danjmilos, I'll give it a go viz:
"An internet accelerator takes a computer's internet connection beyond its default settings, squeezing every last drop of performance available, delivering maximum responsive surfing." Will 23 words do ? best regards, revboy.

Hello
Are we talking about applications such as Firetune, which is no longer available for download. Or addons from firefox listed here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...d=5&sort=&lup= And then there are many so called internet accelerators fond in various all-in-one windows tune-up applications. And of course there is GWA that was reviewed here on this site:http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...ccelerator.htm (no longer available as well) I have found very little improvement using these types of programs, but that's just my experience. However download accelerators seem to improve download rates. Cheers Wdhpr Last edited by wdhpr; 29. Dec 2009 at 01:13 AM. |

Google used to offer a web accelerator that I used for a while. I probably still have the program file saved on my external hard drive. I believe that the program can still be found someplace on the web.
