Default Video Manager with Tag Editor

I got a Video Camera with a 60GB HDD and I finally got a around to starting to catalog, organize, and manage the video's I've recorded. I have yet to find a good solution.

Problems:
Many video files have the same names but in unique project folders
Stored in MOD format
No easy way to preview, rename, add/edit tags

I found an application - Prism Video Converter that converted with unique file names into almost any format. Now I need a solution for managing/organizing the files.

Tried WMP, WMC, and number of other tools but I'm stumped.

What I'm looking for ideally would be a way to browse, preview, rename, file and edit tags. - I can find plenty for MP3/Music but a complete lack of solutions for Video.

Suggestions?

Andy

I found out that Picasa does a decent job on some of the management and organization features but its kind of Klunky - Using the captions I can filter, and by Finding it on the Disk I can Rename/Move. One drawback is that I don't think captions/album info are stored in the file.

I'll use this for now but would appreciate a more elegant solution....

Interesting thread. These could be helpful but on a certain format?
  1. Media Catalog Studio, manage catalogs of multimedia files with a tag editor in MP3 and MP4 files, etc. The free version works with some restrictions, able to write tags into mp3 files, but doesn't seem to work the same for mp4.
  2. Mp3tag, able to write tags into mp3 and mp4 files. The mp4 tags written by this seem to be able to show up on Mp3tag itself but not on Media Catalog Studio.
