Default Clipboard Software that Preserves All Formatting

Hi,

I'm looking for a clipboard utility (e.g. Ditto), but one that preserves formatting. For example, if I copy a link, like:
Gizmo
then paste it immediately, it pastes exactly what I copied, link and all. But if I copy something else then paste the above through Ditto or any clipboard history utility, you paste this:
Gizmo
No link, and with some default text formatting instead of the source formatting. Is there any clipboard software out there that always keeps the source formatting? Freeware would be nice, but not a necessity.

Ditto will do this, you need to go into the options, and go to the supported types and add html

Oh cool. Wow, I wonder why Ditto doesn't simply have all supported types added by default?

Thanks a lot.

What a perfect piece of software...

Most people only want the text on the webpage and not the formatting.

For many types of formatting, copying the formats can also overwrite your own formats/styles if they have the same names.

I didn't say that.
