Default Need software to create tutorials

A volunteer social worker helping the poor needs a tool something like Camtasia to create teaching tutorials. Cannot afford to pay for shareware. It has to be a freeware.

Your suggestions, PLEASE ?

Thank you!
Vicky

Thank you very much, Gentlemen!

The nice feature of Camtasia is the ability to mark the important spots on the screen with red underlines and boxes. This marking ability is very important for tutoring the kind of students I am helping. CamStudio and Wink do not have this feature.

DO YOU HAVE OTHER SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE?

Vicky

I don't know about CamStudio, but Wink certainly does have such mark up abilities. You add text, make all sorts of shapes and call boxes with arrows etc. Also you can add buttons to pause and advance the tutorial. The nice thing about Wink is it does not require as many system resources, and works well on low spec systems. You can also easily edit mouse actions and other things.

You might want to have a look at this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ta1VnYOyxas
