Here's some tips on toggling on/off the options you pointed out. In MusicBee....
1. Disable automatic artwork download: Edit->Preferences->Tags(2)->Auto-tagging->artwork->disable the option "auto-retrieve missing artwork for the playing track 2. Removing duplicates: Tools->Manage duplicates. Also you'll be warned when you're adding duplicate tracks to a playlist. 3.Can sync and play ipods and other mp3 players 4.There is an inbuilt cd ripping facility but no cd burning because it isn't that useful. You have other burning programs for the same. The software will be bloated if you include this feature like what happend to iTunes. Hope it helps. Also when compared to Foobar, MusicBee is far superior by default although if you are ready to customize foobar (which is a tedious task) it can also be a powerhouse.

Also Steven , developer of MusicBee will be including a CD Burner during Christmas
http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=3662.0 "CD Burner: proposed approach is for XP to be able to interface to ImgBurn, and for Vista/Win7 to build a native burner using the windows API" Also an optional video plugin will be created soon. It's optional so that the software doesn't become bloated with all the "extras"
