I've not tried Enigma Virtual Box but did try Cameyo which was posted as a Hot Find in this review by Robert.
It captures an installation and repackages its files into one exe file. The size of the resulting exe file was much larger than the original setup file and the exe file somehow missed out a few native features when running in one of my tries. Not sure if this is what the OP wants?

I got what systemcrash meant, after reading several times. I think he is not able to explain it properly.
He is asking if there is a program, which can include third party file(s) to an already existing exe, and then repackage it back as the exe. Like, the example of Audacity which he gave, which requires LAME dll to be downloaded separately. What systemcrash wants is to be able to include that dll in the Audacity exe with the help of a program, so that the dll remains with the exe, and does not have to stored as a separate file. I don't think such a program will exist, because it will require first disintegrating the exe, and then integrating it again into the exe, with the third party file(s). There are setup builders, but I think they are for building up a setup from scratch, and I don't know if they have the ability to make changes to a created setup, or exe. Also, even if they have such a capability, it may not disintegrate, or change setups created with other setup builders. Best is to just zip the exe, and the file(s) that you want to keep together. If not, software like Cameyo, which virtualize only the applications, might serve the purpose. These application virtualization software work like this. It packages the entire application that is installed on PC into a single exe. So, this can include the third part file(s). But, after an exe is made like this, the application will work like a portable software.. that is, it won't install and uninstall like the normal software. It will be like a portable software, you just click exe and it will run. When you close it, its gone. So that might serve the purpose, if you like the way how it works. Otherwise, I don't think there will be a software that can repackage an exe. Or, maybe there can be such software, but you will have to learn how it works. Because if you want to include a third party file, and if you want that when you install the software, it goes in the right folder. Also, be warned that it might not be considered legal to reverse manipulate the setups.

In my first post on this subject I linked a shot youtube video on how to compile a simple package using IEXPress. Although I never used this software it looks rather simple and just might do what he's looking for. Myself I have used Cameyo to package software for my sons computer. If he messes something up I just restart the layer and of course it runs inside Bufferzone (free)

You can do this quite easy with things like winrar/winzip where you pack all the files together, and have them uncompress and delete themselves when close
but for what the original poster wanted, something like this would be easiest http://www.portablefreeware.com/foru...hp?f=2&t=11582 and i remember using boxedapp a long time ago (like 8 years ago), I'm not even sure if the company is around that made it though |

I'm impressed, just going through the app library. How do apps work that need validating of some kind? Most of those will store something in the registry I think, so that would limit it to the first PC you validated, or does it have a work-around for that?
