Default compact audio player

I'm looking for a compact audio player without a lot of gadgets and whitespace. I just need it to display these properties:

1) Album art
2) Title
3) Artist
3) Album
4) Track time
5) Bitrate

XMPlay and MPC are close, but they don't show album art. If you could recommend a player that's compact and customizable, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for but Boom audio player does all the things on your list apart from showing bitrate as the track plays, you have to view that via properties. It won't play CD's or internet radio, just audio files and folders. It's compact, you can change the UI colours via themes but there are only four. It's a simple layout, no gadgets or tons of settings and no insallation required.

If Boom Player suggested by Deya does not meet your requirements, you can take a look at this article, for more suggestions :

http://www.techsupportalert.com/cont...organizers.htm

Look under Micro Players for the types that you want.

Also look at the list that follows it... those of which were not included in the article, but are still good and may serve your purpose.

padock; bit of an afterthought this, but you could take a look at SnackAmp. It definitely displays all the items on your list, it's compact and it's customisable. It's only 6MB installed. I'm not really sure what you mean by 'gadgets' so I'm kind of throwing punches in the dark here, but I think SnackAmp might tick all the boxes for you.

Best thing is, you can have a really good look around the Website first, it explains everything clearly, see if it's what you're after before you try it. I use it a lot, it runs light and I've never had an issue with it.

Never knew about that one Deya. Man, where do you find out all these players from? I might give this one a try, looks quite interesting.

It's on here, Anupam. I posted it back in April, it's here. It's a good audio player but when I first read padock's post I thought maybe it would be a bit too much in terms of configuring etc. It does all the things in the list though, and a ton more besides, once you get the hang of it.

Ah, so it was posted before. Thanks Deya. I might not have noticed that one... sometimes I can have a selective memory . I will read up on the thread .
