I've used Process Lasso Pro for quite a while now.
Unless there is a restriction preventing the free version from operating the same way as the Pro version - you could right click on the running process name - select the "Default priority class" and "Exclude from probalance restraint" (which would stop the process priority being changed by process lasso). |
