Does anyone know of any free software to help with listing a home inventory {asset management, safety box inventory, etc.}?
Quicken 2001 has something, but you need to download the whole package of accounting, etc., just to run the home inventory portion {and update and maintain it, too, obviously!}. I just want to list the assets we have, especially those stored offsite in a bank deposit box. Thanks/appreciated! ps I've already asked 'antoosa', who contributes to the personal finance products at Gizmo's site... |

I divide the inventory into rooms to make things easier. It can be quite a hefty job but if you keep it updated it can be very useful if you ever have an insurance claim. Any other similar program e.g. the freeware ' Spread32.exe' works just as well. Hope this helps. Jim |
