Default MS Office Publisher alternative

Hi
I am looking for an alternative to the MS Office Publisher that will give me its ability to print calendars (dates and pics etc), banners and cards. The office suits that I have looked at don't seem to include these. Thanks for any help. Tom

Thanks for the link. Impressive looking programs, but they do not seem to have the templates for calendars and banners that I need. Tom

Well, both seem to be very popular programs, and I think they should contain the templates as desired by you. Did you install the programs and had a look?

I haven't used them, so can't say.

Here is another link, which provides alternatives to Office Publisher, and might help you.

Thanks again. I installed Serif and examined Scribus best I could. Perhaps what I need to look for is stand alone calendar and banner apps. Tom

I know that Scribus has calendars templates. Just google "scribus calendar template". There are Python scripts that create calendar formats in Scribus. I've used some of them myself and modified the scripts to get what I want.
