Hi, welcome to the forum.

I have edited out two of the links to forums, which contained more of commercial programs than freeware ones. Ours is a freeware forum, and so, such links won't be permitted.

Also, the instantfundas link says that its an article about free movie organizers, but two of the products mentioned are not free.

Anyways, this article on our site might be helpful to you.

Thanks Anupam for your prompt reply. I notice that most of this software is only meant for DVD. How about other video's file type such as avi, rmvb, mkv etc.

Ok. Thanks anyway for your input. I've tested a few software which is able to find movie info from the file (avi) and it is able to download the movie info from imdb.

This is one of the best free movie organizer that I found so far

EMDB Eric's Movie Database

Found a new one. Not sure if it counts as movie organizer though...
It does not show the fancy dvd covers or any other information on the movies. I'd go for EMDB if you want the dvd covers, so far the best attempt to make delicious library on the pc.

However, you don't have to look for videos yourself and does TV shows as well.

Hi!
This is an all-in-one media player and media library (and much more). And it is portable.
