I use the pomodoro method with work times and breaks for my writing. My problem is that I'm constantly interrupted, and can't find a pomodaro timer that allows you to pause and pick up where you left off. All of the pomodaro specific timers reset the work time when you pause and restart.
What I need is a timer that allows you to do sequential times like these, but allows you to pause and pick up where you left off like a regular countdown timer. I really am beginning to believe one of these doesn't exist, but it would be a great feature to add to a pomodoro timer. Example: Working on a 45 minute work period, interrupted by a phone call on minute 22. My ideal timer would let me press pause, then continue with the remaining 23 minutes without starting over, then go into the break sequence, again with a pause feature just in case. I know this sounds complicated for a free program, but I can't even find it in paid programs. |

Perhaps you need to buy a good quality stopwatch if the Pomodoro timers reset each time you pause them.
Otherwise you could try this: http://www.online-stopwatch.com/
