Whenever possible, please try to provide link to the homesite of the software, and not some other links. Also, the user requirement seems to be different. Original requirement is to delete files based on file size, and not date.

I’ve provided link to the site which contains clear and much better then original site utility description. It also contains screenshot of all filters and clear list of software abilities that are cover original requrements: “You can setup the filter with some of the following criteria : Find delete files by “created date”, “modified date”, and “last accessed date” Find and delete by “date range”, “before or after”, and “specific date” You can also filter by file type and file size.” I found this a bit strange to remove this link without reading and then pointing that someone does not read original requirements. |

OK, fair enough. I have now edited the post again, and put back the original link, but also retaining the link to the homesite.
Sometimes people post links to other sites/blogs, just to promote them, and that is why we have to be careful, specially with people who don't have much posts in the forum, or have joined recently. Another reason why we emphasize that the home site be mentioned... because then anyone who is interested can find out more about the software there, because best information is find out at the home site only. It also helps us determine whether the software is commercial or not, or if the site is safe to be linked to. I hope you appreciate the concerns behind the action taken.

Misleading program name, but thanks for posting Teo. It works adequately for me.
Still, I would prefer something more automatic and with exceptions. Edit: Actually I don't like how it closes to tray. For that reason, and the fact that it barely does a better job than windows explorer, I have uninstalled it. Last edited by J_L; 13. Mar 2011 at 11:26 PM. |

I do not think there would be a lot of choice of GUI utilities that will cover such requirements. That is because in fact, the best way to satisfy them is to write and use batch script and schedule it for automatic execution. |

Comodo Instant Malware Analysis and ThreatExpert doesn't detect anything, and the site is definitely clean. Therefore I'll try it out, and report back afterwards. |
