Default Turn photos to sepia??

I am an artist and not much good with computers. I need to turn a bunch of photos (both black/white and colored) into sepia for a piece I working on. I have an HP Pavilion with XP, an HP 3in1 with scanner and I don't have Photo Shop or anything like that. Is there some way to do this that's not too complicated?
Thanks so much for any suggestion.

Zoner Photo Studio is an excellent option and allows you to set the level of sepia toning.

No need to install heavy photo viewers, or heavy image editors for such a small job.

Picasa and Zoner Studio are mainly image viewers.

GIMP will be quite heavy for a simple use which the user wants.

Any lightweight image editor will do what you want. You can take a look at suggestions for image editors here :

http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...tal-editor.htm

Choose any small image editor to do your job.

I will suggest using PhotoFiltre. Its in the above article. Its just more than 1 MB download. Download the portable version, and run it. You will find the Sepia effect under Filter ---> Color.

Fast, easy, and simple .

I agree with Anupam. Installing Gimp or Paint.net etc. to simply apply sepia to images is like installing Mathlab, in order to add 2+2. Never-the-less learning to use one of those more powerful packages would be well worth your time. Still if you are in a hurry, and just want something simple and light, PhotoFiltre should do. I assume you are using the sepia to make the photos look old. If you want to really make them look authentic, you could use the online tool found here http://labs.wanokoto.jp/olds?lang=en, or you can try this one which also adds a frame http://anymaking.com/funny-old-photo-effect.

If you pefer to age your photos off line, then you can use photoscape which is reviewed in the link that Anupam gave above. It has a vintage photo filter, and here is a tutorial on how to use it. http://www.ampercent.com/create-vint...o-effect/6624/

Try also online Pixlr Editor. Select File > Open image, then Adjustment > Sepia. A two-step process.

Agreed on that: Photoscape's a bit odd to navigate but is definitely intended for less expert users.

One other possibility here: http://www.serif.com/free-photo-editing-software/ is a mid-range solution with plenty of hand-holding, with the only downside being they want your email address and will try hard to convince you to buy their commercial products. You can always use a disposable address :-)
