Looking for Equipment (Asset) Tracking Software

Hello Gizmo Committee
I'm looking for an application that can track equipment that is moved around a facility (hospital) a lot. Barcode scanning a plus. Even an inexpensive solution will be considered. I'd like to use available and current scanners on the market. Any suggestions?

http://www.inflowinventory.com/software-purchase.aspx has a freeware version of their software that will support up to 100 items. It also says it supports Barcodes.

There are quite a number of free programs (or low cost) to turn smart phones and other mobile devices into barcode scanners. Here is a place to start http://alternativeto.net/SearchResul...e&license=free
