I have a bunch of great MP3s (language learning) that were given to me but on many tracks the "tempo" is the native speakers is just way too high.
Is there a freeware prog out there that would let me slow down the speed and ideally, correct the pitch to compensate and then re-save the files? Thanks for any suggestion. |

AIMP2 lets you adjust playback speed, you can adjust it via the equalizer, speed up or slow down, plus other effects. Not sure about re saving the files though, unless you record them as they're playing at your set speed and then save the recorded files as mp3. And I'm not sure that the latest version of AIMP2 has a record function, might be wrong, but I use v2.51 build 330 and that lets you record anything that's playing on your PC and convert it to mp3, very good quality as well.
