Arrow MP4\H.264 Video Editor

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a video editor that handles mp4\h.264 files.
I just need to remove commercials from some files so nothing really complicated.

I have always used Avidemux for the task but since my online PVR switched from divx to mp4 I cannot use it any longer since it can't handle such files.
The output files are out of synch and it is something that will be fixed probably in their major next release.

Any suggestions both freeware and commercial?

Many thanks

Default iWisoft Free Video Converter

Have you tried iWisoft Free Video Converter? Download page here.

The developer claims that this freeware program will "Crop, Clip, Split, Merge video and audio files."

It works for me with .mp4.

Tutorial here.

Hi Bob,

No I was not aware of this software.

I will give it a try and let you know how it works.
Thank you for the suggestion and if anyone has more software to recommend fell free to throw them in.

Thank you

Hi Bob,

I have tried iWisoft Free Video Converter and unfortunately it won't do for my needs.

1) First of all I always hate software that starts your browser for whatever reason.
This software goes one step further and connects to it's own page everytime I start it to check for updates (something that can be easily done without starting a browser).

2)The editing part of the software is very very basic with no easy way to get the exact frame.
For example there is a next frame button but not a previous one whoch means if you miss the right frame you have to go back and start again.

Thanks for your suggestion anyway, much appreciated.

Anyone has any more software to suggest please?

Thank you
