Depending on what you mean by "...just like in Adobe Flash." Synfig is probably the best alternative. http://www.synfig.org/

Synfig is not a Adobe Flash clone, however, it looks very different, but you can get very good results. There are examples available around the net.

The second choice I am aware of is Pencil. http://www.pencil-animation.org/

Can you give us a bit more detail about your project, and exactly how & what you want to animate? I have quite a bit of experience in advanced presentations, so I may be able to help you and direct you to the product you need.

Hi, I use to make flash based websites with buttons, simple actionscripts and animations. I don't like to install trial versions and one of my installer of Flash is not working. So, I want freeware.
The project that I'm creating so far is simple, it's just some photos moving around from one point into the next, fading in the end, then it's a loop. It will be displayed in the screen.

I think I understand what you want to do. It seems like something you could easily do with jquery. Jquery has a lot of plugins that will help you do all kinds of flash type effects with images.
