Mailing Software

I'm wanting to add an email newsletter to one of my blogs (wordpress) and have tried sendblaster but it simply doesn't work and the company doesn't respond to requests.

Any suggestions as to what else I can use that is free and I can run either from my desktop or as a plugin via wordpress?

Don't worry about this one - I just found this thread:

Which has more than enough for now - unless someone has anything specific for working with in or via wordpress?
