free smart address book

i have heard of plaxo and unyk with some bad reviews of plaxo. i wonder if there are any other alternatives...there does not seem to be a review of this category here. thanks!

I, too, would like to know what other alternatives there are for free address book(s) that are considered worth using. And not online ones.

I use Kurlo and have done for a couple of years with no problem at all.
