Default PicPick screen capture doesn't save the images

Anyone know how to get PicPick to auto-save the images?

Of course, I have it set to auto-save, with a folder designated, and also Clipboard save enabled. Image filename is set to %c, meaning it gets named as an incrementing number.

But it won't auto-save and each screengrab has to be manually saved. It's the perfect tool for my needs, but will get dumped if I can't find how to make it save the pix.

Auto-save works for me.

Try this: Right click at PicPick's tray icon, select Screen Capture -> Output Type, and tick "Save to Image File".

Even though "Copy to Clipboard" is unticked there but it will still be functional if "Always copy captured image to Clipboard" is ticked under Program Options -> Capture.

Sometimes the programmers can be illogical you know.

Still doesn't work. But it does throw up the Save dialogue now, with the folder location window, so I guess it's only one click now to save it. Progress

Oops, sorry for my mistakes.

The right one should be:

Right click at PicPick's tray icon, select Capture Settings -> Output Type, and tick "Auto Save As".

Then select a folder to auto-save the files, and click OK.

Great to hear that it works so long as it will not crash your PC.

I actually installed different versions of PicPicks on two separate PCs. Now I found out that both posts are right depending on which version of PicPick you use.

The latest version is 2.1.2 with the GUI changed and the steps mentioned on 23 Oct shall apply, but both "Save to Image File" and "Auto Save As" are to be ticked.
