Recently I tried i2pdf to compile a few photoes into one pdf file. Further I used BeCyPDFMetaEdit to set the slide show effect of each photo in the pdf file.
When this pdf file is viewed on Adobe Reader 9 in full screen, it has a slideshow effect. But when I view the same pdf file with PDF-XChange Viewer or Foxit Reader in full screen, I don't see the slideshow comes into play. I doubt these two pdf viewers are supporting slide show. Anyone has any better idea on this?

Sounds like JavaScript to me.
I'd definitely turn that off - there's a *lot* of malicious PDF's going around, and they're all using malicious JavaScript to begin their attacks. Security professionals have said Foxit Reader has many features but no security; that was enough for me to switch to Sumatra PDF, a much smaller & more inconvenient but far more secure PDF reader.
